My role on the project

  • Game Design: 3C of the character

This project focuses on the 3d of a character. I therefore designed all of the character's movements in order to offer fluid and dynamic traversal mechanics. The objective of this approach was to offer a way of moving that will reward the player if he performs actions at the right time to gain as much speed as possible.

  • Level Design: Realized the Metrics test Level

To effectively test the 3Cs of the characters, I designed a level to test all the metrics of the game and check what works or not for level design. I also designed a more open area so that the player can move freely and test the speed gain mechanic.

  • Programmation: Programmed all of the 3C

As a solo developper, this project allowed me to learn Blueprint on Unreal Engine. Based on the Third Person Template, i programmed all the mechanics that you can see in the game.

​

  • Art: Dynamic Snow

In order to increase the player's sensations of sliding and stick to the game world, I created a dynamic snow shader that transforms as the player passes in order to leave a colorful hollow in his path.
